CJS Portsmouth undertakes a Mopathon Challenge at Royal South Hants Hospital
Andy Baker, CJS Sales Executive and Sharon Wray, Team Leader of the Royal South Hants Hospital (RSH) took part in a Mopathon Challenge to see who could clean a part of the hospital’s corridor the fastest whilst ensuring the results are effective.
Keith Churchill, Sales Director for CJS started the competition with Alison Pinnock, Senior Team Leader for the RSH, looking on.
The competition began with Sharon Wray taking the lead using her SYR Freedom Mop, however within a short space of time Andy, using a Vileda Ultraspeed Pro mop overtook Sharon and finished the race in first position.Â
Whilst Andy was quicker than Sharon, cleanliness is not about speed and so a further test was taken to see which area proved to be the cleanest. Andy revisited the areas cleaned by Sharon with his Ultraspeed Pro mop and picked up further dirt missed by the standard SYR Freedom Mop.
Keith Churchill, Sales Director for CJS Portsmouth presented Andy with the Mopathon Challenge trophy and Sharon vowed to revisit this challenge at a later date.
The Vileda Ultraspeed Pro Flat Mop is fitted with a microfibre pad which grabs and holds on to the dirt as it cleans whereas most standard mops simply move the dirt around. The flat mop comes with colour coded applications and so can be used for reliable cross contamination control or organising your cleaning products for specific purposes. The simplicity and design of the mop makes it easy to clean into the corners. It also has a telescopic handle for height adjustment and ease of use. It tackles a task much quicker than most mops meaning that staff are freed up sooner.
