We are proud to announce that Andy Baker, Sales Manager and the CJS lockdown team have recently been awarded with a special rainbow ‘thank you’ badge in recognition for their contribution and dedication to the NHS Solent Trust.

As a memento of these challenging times, the Solent NHS Trust is offering the badges to its colleagues so that they can wear it with pride, while giving them the opportunity to nominate people in their community for supporting them.

The badges have been designed with a rainbow pride of place – a symbol that has become synonymous with the COVID-19 pandemic, started by children, who weren’t able to attend school, placing pictures of rainbows in their window.  And, the heart is a way of demonstrating a connection and people working together.

Hazel Read, Facilities Management Support Services Manager for Solent NHS Trust presented the rainbow badge to Andy following his latest visit.  She said: “As the NHS was thrown into the unknown, and it became quite apparent that to support my teams I would need additional PPE and cleaning chemicals very quickly, I turned to CJS, my main supplier for all things cleaning. Andy was always there, answering every call and ensuring that my staff and wards were protected and clean. Nothing was too much trouble. For that we cannot thank him and the team enough.”

We have remained open during lockdown, fulfilling essential cleaning, hygiene and PPE products for the NHS, care homes and many more key worker organisations along the South Coast.

Keith Churchill, Sales Director for CJS, said: “The Company is particularly proud to have been able to help the NHS through these ongoing testing times.  The NHS has been the backbone of the country throughout and it is their commitment and tireless support that we are all so very thankful for. We are just so happy that Andy and the Lockdown Team here have helped in some small way.”

As more and more organisations are now returning to work under their ‘new normal’ arrangement, the Company is ready to help with the increased cleaning and hygiene demand in order to meet safer working practices. With over 40 years’ experience within the sector we are well placed to provide effective products and advice where needed.

Keep up the good work!

Yours, DB
